Ignacio is an executive director and co-founder at the Digital Frontiers Institute, a new organization that is developing a professional development network and training course around digital money and payments. He is also a Senior Fellow at the Fletcher School's Council on Emerging Market Enterprises at Tufts University.
Previously, Ignacio was the Deputy Director in the Financial Services for the Poor program at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and Senior Advisor at the Technology Program at CGAP. He has been Director of Global Business Strategy at Vodafone Group, Executive VP of Marketing and Account Management at DoCoMo interTouch, and Senior Manager responsible for telecoms investments in Europe for Intel Capital.
Lesley-Ann is one of the creators of M-PESA as one of the team of five consultants who delivered the M-PESA platform for Vodafone from concept to launched service, working as Product Management lead. She was Chief Product Officer for a MFS Financial Platform startup with clients globally. She has been operating as an independent consultant in the MFS sector since 2012.
Lesley-Ann has deep subject matter expertise in MFS initiatives, both telco-led & bank-led, including essential elements such as Risk Management, AML Compliance, Agent Management, Customer Service. Her expertise spans assessment, requirements development, technical delivery and operational implementation of MFS programs; Lesley-Ann has spent considerable time helping clients to move from concept to a growing business with business processes & systems that are transparent & can scale.
As Director of the Business Finance Center at the Community Business Partnership, Gregory leads the organization through the transformative process for CDFI certification (Achieved Certification 9/2016). The process consists of defining, designing, and building the overall comprehensive business plan, policies and procedures. This process is inclusive of strategic, marketing, financial, capitalization, implementation and lending plans for the fund. In addition, he is responsible for leading the Community Business Partnership to the next level of micro and small business lending by becoming a certified Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI).
